Why I Am Running for Re-Election 2025
I’m running for re-election to the Planning Board because I care about how Norfolk grows... not just in the next year or two, but in the next few decades. Things are moving fast in the world, and we can’t afford to just react. We need to plan carefully, think long-term, and minimize the chance that the choices we make today won’t backfire tomorrow. There’s no silver bullet to fix our residential tax burden or revitalize downtown — it’s going to take a combination of smart zoning, good planning, and a clear sense of what makes Norfolk special. I helped put together the 2025 Master Plan, which over a thousand residents contributed to, and I believe it’s the best tool we have to guide that work. I support a mix of housing that makes sense for our community — not big apartment blocks, but thoughtful, balanced options that help us plan for the future. I try to bring both strategy and creativity to the job. Sidewalks are expensive, so we’ve been looking at multi-modal paths as a practical alternative. And when we were asked to comply with the MBTA Communities Act — whether we agreed with it or not — we found a solution that kept Norfolk in compliance without hurting the town. My goal isn’t to block things. My job isn't to say no. My job as Planning Board member is to help make sure what does get built is right — for Norfolk, for the long term, and for the people who live here. That’s why I’d like to keep doing this work.

About Me
I’ve lived in Norfolk since 2014 with my wife, Kristie, our two kids (age 16 and 13, both in the public schools), and our dog. I manage software engineering teams at a management consulting firm, and I’ve built my career through hands-on experience, continuous learning, and a lot of problem-solving — not through a traditional college path. I grew up in Milton, spent time living in Mansfield and Lincoln (RI), and love to travel and explore with my family. I’m an avid skier, enjoy camping, and have done philanthropic work across the U.S. focused on improving the lives of underprivileged children. Norfolk is home, and I’m proud to give back.
